Using d/8º sphere geometry, the rugged, dependable ColorQuest XE measures opaque, transparent, and translucent solids and liquids, offering exceptional performance value. In the lab or on the production floor, the versatile ColorQuest XE measures a variety of color values, in every viable color scale in the 400 nm - 700 nm spectrum. Underneath its sleek exterior lives an electronic assembly, ruggedly built in excess of specification on a rigid optical platform, ensuring years of reliable, accurate service. The ColorQuest XE offers an excellent value providing robust operation and low cost of ownership. The efficient optical configuration delivers high performance with a true monochromator design. Sealed dual beam optics incorporates a diode array detector that allows simultaneous measurement of the sample with real-time reference beam correction for each data point. A long life Xenon lamp provides instant-on high energy illumination for accurate 400 nm to 700 nm measurements in fewer than 2 seconds.
