Description:

The offered IKA Decomposition System consists of
- AOD 1 Decomposition system (AOD 1.1 Decomposition vessel, C 48 Oxygen station and AOD 1.2 External ignition unit), which is used for oxidative decomposition of solid and liquid organic and partially inorganic samples under pressure in a closed system
- AOD 1.3 Protection device
- AOD 1.1 FZ Decomposition vessel
- C 21 Pelleting press (Manual pellet press for powders; good combustible substances)
- C 7030 Venting station (To control the degassing process of the combustion gases after the decomposition)
- C 29 Pressure gauge, oxygen (To reduce the oxygen pressure from the bottle to 30 bar)

Principle and function are based on the method of the combustion in the bomb calorimeter and validated according DIN 51577, part 1 dt. 1982.
Other relevant validations are:
- DIN / EN 14582, determination characteristics of waste, halogen and sulfur content
- DIN 51527, Testing of solid samples, determination of chlorine content
