The Hamamatsu C8484-05G is a highly sensitive CCD camera designed specifically for microscopy and scientific imaging applications. With its cooled 1.3-megapixel interline CCD sensor and a high 12-bit dynamic range, the camera is excellently suited for fluorescence and brightfield microscopy, luminescence measurements and live-cell imaging applications. Image data transfer is handled via the included FireWire (IEEE 1394) interface, enabling fast and stable data transmission to the evaluation PC. Thanks to its low readout noise and rugged construction, the C8484-05G was an established camera for image analysis and microscope imaging systems in research laboratories for many years.
