The Zeiss LSM 510 META built on the inverted stand Axiovert 200M is a high-performance laser scanning confocal microscope of the highest class for biomedical research. The integrated META detection system enables simultaneous spectral unmixing of multiple fluorescent dyes — ideal for complex multi-color experiments in living cells. The motorized Axiovert 200M body provides automated focusing, motorized nosepiece and filter wheels, and full software control via ZEN. The system is excellent for FRAP, FLIP, FRET and other dynamic fluorescence experiments. The included Plan-Apochromat 20x and Plan-Neofluar 10x objectives cover a wide range of applications from overview imaging to high-resolution cell biology.
